Literature Text

Running in circles really isn’t fun.
At least that’s what you tell me.
Maybe I should take your advice for once, but I’ll still be a reckless mess of a person.

You said she wasn’t right, and that the other one was the better choice.
‘Whatever’ I said simply,

‘It isn’t up

To me’

When, really, it was.

Or…I think it was. Sometimes I don’t think properly.

That’s why you laugh at me over the phone.

We’re friends, obviously.

I’m just a bit of a screwball.
A request :iconcardcaptorsaddict: :/

finally, right?

i have nothing to say here....this poem was simply awful, in my opinion.

but i had to get it done....

will scrap later.

I've always pretended that you listen to me.
since wishful thinking has been a specialty of mine.
but god knows
if life is a circus,
our friendship is the high-wire.
step by step.
day by day.
one false move.
and the world starts falling around me.
but i'm not trying very hard to make it to the other side.
i'd rather live in my afflicted nightmare with you next to me.
than have safe tragic happy endings alone.
i'd hit the ground a million times.
before i'd stop climbing back up.
so i could see your smile.
